Transformation...

As part of my practical experimentation work I have looked t mono printing. I liked the scratchy effects and the tones that this technique gave.

Method:

1. Use a pallet knife to scoop a small amount of ink onto your surface to create an ink reservoir.
2. Use a push knife to spread a small amount of ink on to your work station, make sure  that it is a smooth flat surface that you use.
3. Next us a roller to flatten out the ink so it is an even consistency.
4. Next place a sheet of paper on top of the ink and then draw on top of the paper.
5. Pull the paper off and leave to dry.

After taking the sheet off the ink station you can place another sheet of paper on top of the ink and then rub over the back of the paper to recreate the print.
